Various church denominations gathered at the Restoration Center in the capital to honour and celebrate the life of the late Founding Father of the Namibian Nation.

The Executive Chairperson of the Alliance of Christian Churches, Dolly Nengushe, said that while the church cannot endorse any political party, it has a duty to act as a moral compass for society.
