Speakers at the event highlighted his contributions to the country's freedom, expressing gratitude for his fearless leadership and dedication to peace and unity.

Church leaders reaffirmed their commitment to building on his foundation of harmony and nation-building.

Dolly Nengushe, the Executive Chairperson of the Alliance of Christian Churches, urged Namibians to uphold the late leader's legacy of selflessness and strive to make the country a beacon of hope.

Professor Oladele Arowolo, who worked alongside him for a decade, described him as a man of peace and justice, emphasizing his role in shaping a strong governance system and a functional constitution.

He stated that the late Nujoma's commitment to justice earned him the title of "governance apostle."
