O'Linn Nauyoma, the teenager who drowned in Lake Guinas in the Oshikoto Region last September, was buried on Saturday in Ohalushu Village, Ohangwena Region. His body was recovered three weeks ago.

DNA tests have confirmed that the remains found in Lake Guinas last week are those of O'Linn Nauyoma, a learner who disappeared in the lake during a school excursion.

His father, Cornelius Nauyoma, says they can now bury their son's remains.

The family of O'Linn Nauyoma, who drowned in Lake Guinas last September, say they have been having sleepless nights since the incident.

They are, however, confident that the recovered remains belong to their 16-year-old son.
