The National Council Standing Committee on Home Affairs, Security, Constitutional and Legal Affairs visited the Katima Mulilo Border Post in the Zambezi Region on Monday to find out if recommendations proposed by the committee in 2022 have been implemented by the government.

The 16th session of the 6th National Council has officially come to a close, with its Vice Chairperson, Victoria Kauma, praising members for their commitment, unity and hard work.

The Speaker of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in South Africa, Newrene Klaaste, paid a courtesy visit to the Chairperson of the National Council, Lukas Muha.

The visit's goal was to learn from Namibia's Parliament and compare notes on procedures.
