The Zambezi Education Directorate hosted its regional culture festival at Schumansburg Combined School.

The festival is held under the theme "Youth drives creative industry and cultural promotion of economic empowerment."

Former MP Geoffrey Mwilima buried in Zambezi Region

Former member of parliament Geoffrey Mwilima was buried at Kanono Village in the Zambezi region today. 
Mwilima died in a Windhoek hospital aged 70 while awaiting a medical operation.

Zambezi Governor Dorothy Kabula delivered a speech on behalf of President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. 

Caprivi Secondary School reopens following sewage spill

Normal school resumed on Wednesday at Caprivi Senior Secondary School after a two-day temporary closure. 

The education directorate in the Zambezi region closed down the institution for two days amid a sewage spill.

Caprivi Senior Secondary School closed over sewage spill

The Education Directorate in the Zambezi Region has closed down Caprivi Senior Secondary School for two days to prevent a sewage spill. 

 Education Inspector for Katima Mulilo Circuit, Rosco Lukubwe, said the school closure will allow the Works Department and Town Council to unblock the system.

National Democratic Party marks 22-year anniversary
