Minister of Industrialisation, Mines and Energy, Nantangue Ithete, says he will issue a formal statement on the status of the Namibia Industrial Development Agency (NIDA) board.

The Minister of Industries, Mines, and Energy, Natangue Ithete, has tabled a budget of N$637.5 million to help Namibia grow its industries, bring electricity to more homes, and create jobs.

The Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy called on staff members to create plans to ensure sustainable mining practices and industrial development.

Natangue Ithete says the ministry's policies must safeguard the optimal use of Namibia's natural resources to support employment creation.
