The Erongo Regional Electricity Distributor, Erongo RED, has launched a mobile application that allows customers to buy electricity, pay their accounts, report faults, and access key services anytime.

A Namibian software designer developed the mobile application under an agreement with the MTC.

Rundu residents reject NORED's proposed 3% tariff hike

Residents of Rundu have rejected NORED's tariff increase proposal of 3% for the 2025/2026 financial year.

The residents say the proposed percentages are high considering the challenges of unemployment.
