The Ministries of Environment, Forestry and Tourism; Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security; and the Namibia Tourism Board launched the National Customer Service Excellence Initiative in Windhoek to enhance service delivery at points of entry.

Minister Indileni Daniel emphasized, “Customer service is not only about system excellence but building a culture of professionalism, accountability, and respect for all customers, including Namibians.”

She said the program aims to equip individuals with skills and mindsets to improve service delivery and public confidence.

Minister Lucia Ipumbu highlighted the importance of customer care in tourism and border management, stating, “No institution can thrive alone; all must work together to ensure visitors have a positive experience.”

In partnership with NUST, the program offers academic courses, executive training, and commercial projects to strengthen service standards.
