Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, Edward Wambo, has reminded staff members about the central role they play in service delivery to the masses.

Wambo was on a familiarisation visit to the Omaheke Region.

The Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, Lucia Iipumbu, says public countrywide consultations on the proposed New Migration Bill have now concluded, although stakeholders may still submit written inputs until next Wednesday.

The Ministries of Environment, Forestry and Tourism; Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security; and the Namibia Tourism Board launched the National Customer Service Excellence Initiative in Windhoek to enhance service delivery at points of entry.
