Prime Minister Dr. Elijah Ngurare said as Namibia celebrates its 36th independence, the country should move towards ensuring that its resources are shared amongst every Namibian.

Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge has called for integrity and accountability in service delivery from leaders in his region, urging them to be professional and deliver quality service to the people.

Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge said the region is making significant progress in accelerating service delivery to both its inhabitants and visitors across its 11 constituencies.

Defence and Veterans Affairs Minister Frans Kapofi, Presidential Advisor Christine ||Hoebes, and Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge were amongst the high-ranking officials who visited the family of the late Solomon Hawala this morning at his homestead in Ohakweenyanga village near Ondangwa in the Oshana Region. 

Regional officials and community members welcomed Hofni Iipinge, the newly appointed Governor of the Oshana Region, as he officially assumed office.
