The gazetting of Gilbert Muhongo Mutwa Moraliswani III on the 15th of July by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as the Simwine for the Masubia people brings an end to the long succession debate.

The new Simwine of the Masubia Traditional Authority, Gilbert Moraliswani III, has said he will stand on the shoulders of those who fought for the independence of Namibia.

He pledged to carry the responsibility bestowed on him with humility, openness, and respect for other traditional authorities.
