The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security (MHAISS) has launched a new Employment Permit to Conduct Business, aimed at creating a more streamlined and predictable immigration process for investors and businesspersons.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has urged the Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) to improve timely communication with investors and to provide what she described as "red carpet treatment" to all clients.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has directed the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security (MHAISS) to review the visa regime and simplify the application forms in a bid to attract investment to the country.
