One of the accused in the Fishrot corruption case, Ricardo Gustavo, has indicated he will oppose an application by co-accused Otniel Shuudifonya for leave to appeal a court ruling on a trial delay.

Six of the accused in the NAMCOR corruption trial have been granted bail, following their successful appeal against the Windhoek Magistrate's Court's refusal to grant them bail.

Questions have been raised over how legal aid lawyers are paid in one of the country's biggest corruption trials.
