Namibia has taken another step toward tackling youth unemployment and skills shortages with the official launch of TalentBridge Namibia, a joint vocational training initiative linking Namibia and Germany.

The University of Namibia (UNAM) has officially launched its 2026 academic year with messages of transformation, innovation, and shared responsibility.

The university welcomed a historic intake of more than 11,000 first-year students across its 12 campuses countrywide.
