50 Houses electrified in Bukalo

The Northern Regional Electricity Distributor (NORED) has electrified 50 houses that were recently handed over to the owners through the Shack Dwellers Federation of Namibia in the Zambezi Region's Bukalo village.

The electrified houses are part of phase one of an ongoing two-phase construction project.

Family, friends, and supporters greeted Swartbooi upon her return from Ongwediva, the site of the pageant.

City of Windhoek makes progress at Farm 508

The City of Windhoek has acknowledged the concerns raised by residents at Farm 508 regarding service delivery and poor road infrastructure.

It says it is doing its best to improve living conditions in the area and has made progress since the flood victims were relocated to the farm early this year.

Pensioner demands N$10 560 from Nampost

Lawyer Kadhila Amoomo, representing 75-year-old Katutura pensioner Petrina Sikela, has issued a demand to Nampost for the reimbursement of N$10,560, allegedly withdrawn from Sikela’s account without authorisation between 4 February and 22 July of this year.

OYO Exhibition promotes positive masculinity

The Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO) held its closing ceremony for the Caring Namibia Man photo exhibition.

The exhibition, open since the 5th of July, displayed photos portraying a positive side of Namibian men.
