Namibia pushes to host Green Climate Fund African hub

Namibia is set to intensify its lobbying efforts for the bid to host the Green Climate Fund (GCF)'s African Regional Hub during the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference.

The conference, also known as COP30, will take place from 6 to 21 November in Belém, Brazil.

Two more cholera deaths reported in Zambia

Two more people have died of cholera in Zambia, while 21 remain admitted to hospital as the disease has continued to spread to other parts of the country.

This brings the total number of deaths to five since the disease broke out in August.
