A Rundu based businessman Daniel Augusto De Jesus has died aged 73.

De Jesus is the owner of Rundu OK Foods supermarket and hardware retailer Rundu Build It.

He also owned the Grootfontein OK Foods and Nkurenkuru Market and employed more than 380 people.

Rundu Council backtracked to terminate its debt collection with RedForce

The Rundu Town Council has backtracked on its intention to terminate its three-year debt collection agreement with RedForce Debt Management Services. 

Rundu Mayor Gabriel Kanyanga was quoted in a local daily newspaper early this month saying the council had resolved to terminate the agreement.
