NamPol announces traffic fines amnesty for drivers until end of January 2023

Motorists with outstanding warrants of arrest have until the end of January next year to settle their admission of guilt fines.

Speaking at a media briefing, NamPol's Inspector General, Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo, said a total of 348,438 warrants of arrest are yet to be executed.

Man dies at local bar in Katima Mulilo

A 45-year-old Jose Paulus Maseka died at the Katima Mulilo State Hospital after he was stabbed in the arm with a broken bottle at a local bar.

It is reported that the suspect and the deceased were drinking at a local Bar at Katima Mulilo when an argument broke out between the deceased and his girlfriend.

Khomas Regional Council donates to Windhoek Correctional Facility

The Khomas Regional Council donated items valued at close to N$ 80 000 to the Windhoek Correctional Facility.

The gesture was made during a visit by the Khomas Governor and the council to the facility to look at the challenges faced by the rehabilitation centre.

Mother desperately looks for her missing son in Karibib

It is alleged that Myne Oswyn left his mother's house last Monday in the Harambe location to visit his grandfather in the same location.
