A 33-year-old Namibian male has been arrested for the murder of his former girlfriend and mother of his three children, at Uukwanapembe Village in the Omusati Region last night.

Farmers in the Omusati Region and beyond are participating in Unam's Ogongo Campus Agricultural annual conference to share and gain experience from different practitioners on agricultural research, innovation, and training opportunities.

Farmers and residents of Amarika village in Otamanzi constituency, Omusati Region, still depend on hand-dug wells that have saline water.

The traditional water sources in the area,  villagers say, do not produce sufficient water for both humans and livestock.

'Operation No Sleep- Business Unusual', is what NamPol's Regional Commander for Omusati Commissioner Ismael Basson is about, sending a strong message to those who find themselves in conflict with the law.
