The Swapo Party regional coordinator, Matheus Mumbala, said during a meeting at Keetmanshoop over the weekend that the preparations for the upcoming elections in November are in full swing as the party continues to campaign for its presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
Preparations for the 2024 general registration of voters, to be held from June 3 to August 1, are in full swing in the Zambezi Region.
Preparations are underway at the Rundu Trade Fair Centre for the scheduled return to school tomorrow, of learners who failed to get timely placement in the Rundu Circuit.
More than 7 00 learners in Grades 8, 9 and 10 are set to commence classes on Monday.
The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN), has already started preparing for the upcoming general elections.
Namibians will go to the polls in 2024 to elect a President and members of the National Assembly.
