The Namibian government is yet to receive a response from Germany on the proposed amendment to the joint declaration on the 1904–1908 genocide.

Otjozondjupa Governor, James Uerikua, accompanied by regional council chairperson, Marlayn Mbakera, held a meeting with the striking workers of the Cheetah Cement factory at Otjiwarongo. 

Only a handful of taxi drivers showed up for a meeting organised by the Namibia Bus and Taxi Association in Khomasdal on Wednesday.
