O'Linn Nauyoma, the teenager who drowned in Lake Guinas in the Oshikoto Region last September, was buried on Saturday in Ohalushu Village, Ohangwena Region. His body was recovered three weeks ago.

Malaria cases in the Ohangwena Region reached high numbers between September 2024 and the 5th of January, with 1,888 cases recorded over that period.

Of these, 844 were local and 1,044 non-local, with cases ranging from as young as six months, to 101 years.

Japan aids in reducing classrooms backlog at Ndadi Primary School

Japan constructed a block of four classrooms and a storeroom at Ndadi Primary School in the Ohakafiya circuit, Ohangwena Region.

The buildings, valued at N$1.3 million, were constructed through the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).
