Swapo Party members in the ||Kharas Region want a leader who is inclusive for the position of Vice- President.

Swapo Party members and supporters flocked to the Otjiwarongo community hall for the regional engagement with candidates vying for the three top posts at the upcoming congress. 

It was all blue, red, and green, and the hall and the yard were packed with many people clad in party gear.

Candidates contesting three of the top positions in the Swapo Party made presentations to delegates at Rundu in the Kavango East Region.

Regional Coordinator Ottilie Shinduvi says the intra-party campaign went according to the guidelines as agreed by the Central Committee.

Swapo Party Vice Presidential candidate Pohamba Shifeta has dismissed reports that he intends to withdraw from the race, as false.

Shifeta says he has overwhelming support among delegates, which he says is a clear testimony of a call upon him to serve the country.

The Swapo Party Coordinator in the Erongo Region, Daniel Muhura, has denied allegations that delegates in support of Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah almost disrupted the party's internal election campaign at Swakopmund.

The Swapo Party candidates were in the Omaheke Region to sell their vision and solicit support for their candidacy. 

The Omaheke Region has 38 delegates whom the candidates must convince to support them.
