Ohorongo Cement and Pupkewitz Megabuild handed over 400 bags of cement for the construction of accommodation for police officers deployed at border posts.

Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security Minister Dr. Albert Kawana has provided clarity on the recent recruitment of police cadets, saying Namibians from across the board were represented.

Namibia's Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security, Dr. Albert Kawana, launched the 'Visa Upon Arrival" at the Trans-Kalahari Border Post in the Omaheke Region.

Dr. Kawana says that about 47 countries are granted visas upon arrival in Namibia.

The Namibian government remains committed to ensuring that marginalised and stateless people are issued national documents.
