President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has arrived in the Zambezi Region ahead of the 35th Heroes' Day commemoration cerem
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has told fellow SADC leaders that the objectives of the development plans would not be realised when citizens are confronted by hunger, high youth unemployment and other socio-economic challenges.
The Omaheke Region has registered 11 new cases of malnutrition and one death during the months of July and August, while 45 children under the age of five died from malnutrition-related conditions in the region this year.
According to Zambezi Governor Alufea Sampofu, not many security threats have been experienced along Namibia's borders in the region since last month, although stock theft is increasing from Namibia to Zambia.
Democracy, Peace and Security are important elements for economic development in any country.
These were the sentiments shared by the Namibia and European Union delegations at the Namibia - European Union Political Dialogue currently underway in Windhoek.
