The Church of Africa's late Deputy Bishop, Ngetujame Zacheus Makari, will be buried on Sunday at Okahumandu village in the Omaheke Region's Aminuis Constituency.

Rukee Moelanjane, the late deputy bishop's brother, confirmed the burial details to Nampa.

Two teens survive hippo attack at Kasisi village

Two boys aged 13 and 16 survived a hippo attack at Kasisi village in the Kavango West Region on Monday.

Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga confirmed the incident to Nampa, saying the boys were attacked while in a canoe between 16h00 and 17h00.

RTC to start first phase of new building in 2025/26

The Rundu Town Council (RTC) plans to begin the first phase of constructing its new building during the 2025/26 financial year.

Presently, council staff work from government-owned offices, housed in one of the town’s oldest structures, located on land belonging to the Ministry of Works and Transport.
