Namibia's oil and gas sector could boost the economy, but some residents in the Kavango West Region think the 10% benefit share is too small to grow the economy. 

The Brazilian government is proposing to expand the flagship naval cooperation with Namibia to include the exchange of expertise in the oil and gas industries.

Thirteen Namibians with Level 3 qualifications in welding, fitting, and turning will be trained in vital oil and gas vocational skills in Angola.

With the help of this programme, Namibians will be better equipped to progress the country's rapidly growing oil and gas industry.
