The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Dr Peya Mushelenga urged the public to support the nationhood and national pride programme.

The NNP regional engagement was concluded in Mariental.

The NNP was launched in 2011 to instil the spirit of nationhood and patriotism in all Namibian citizens as well as consolidate peace and stability.

MICT to host a three-day Progress Review Conference

As the custodian of the Nationhood and National Pride (NNP) programme, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology will host a three-day Progress Review Conference from 26–28 October 2022 at Swakopmund in the Erongo region.

The NNP campaign is part of the ministry's strategy to enhance nationhood and build a sense of national pride in all Namibian citizens.

Regional authorities called to embrace and drive NNP campaign

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Dr Peya Mushelenga, has called on regional authorities to embrace and drive the Nationhood and National Pride(NNP) campaign.

Speaking during the regional stakeholders' engagement at Eenhana in the Ohangwena Region, Dr Mushelenga emphasised the role of the regional leadership in spearheading and ensuring the successful implementation of the campaign in the region.

MICT & Erongo leadership to reactivate NNP

The Deputy Minister of ICT, Emma Theofelus, held a consultative meeting with the Erongo Regional leadership on the Nationhood and National Pride (NNP) campaign, as part of the reactivation of the campaign.

The NNP campaign is a government-initiated programme aimed at reinforcing a sense of belonging, patriotism, and national pride among the citizens.

It also aims to educate the public to understand and see how they can contribute to its success, as well as to access the viability of the reactivation of Regional Nationhood and National Pride regional forums.
