Some youth in Tsumkwe have raised concerns about what they describe as unfair tender awards in the constituency, particularly the construction of toilets in local villages. 

Parents of a one-month-old baby, Khan||an Kaesie, who died three years ago, are pleading with health authorities to find his remains.

Khan||an died at ||Nhoma Settlement in Otjozondjupa's Tsumkwe Constituency.

After years of operating in tents to combat crime in the area, the Omatako Valley Police Post made up of prefabricated units, has been inaugurated in the Tsumkwe Constituency of Otjozondjupa Region.

The building was unveiled by the Namibian Police Inspector-General, Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo.

The Namibia Training Authority (NTA) visited the Tsumkwe Constituency to address barriers preventing marginalized communities from accessing technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and the high school dropout rate.

Plans are underway to renovate and revamp the Mangetti Health Center at Tsumkwe Constituency in Otjozondjupa Region, which is in a dilapidated state.

This was confirmed by Regional Health Director, Gerbardo Timotheus, following risk assessments done in 2022 .

The Councillor for the Tsumkwe Constituency, Johannes Haufiku, with the Women's Action for Development, has undertaken to train unemployed youths in short courses.
