The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has reiterated its dedication to conducting the upcoming elections in a transparent, fair, and credible manner.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called on Swapo Party members to deliver victory for the party in the November elections. 

She wants them to maintain the chain to ensure perfect synergy in service delivery. 

SADC observers of the Tanzania General Elections have reported that voters in many areas of the country were unable to freely express their will during the recently concluded general election. 

Tanzania's electoral commission on Saturday afternoon handed over an election certificate to Samia Suluhu Hassan, a ceremony that cements her Presidency amid protests that have crippled the country.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has noted important achievements in preparation for the 2025 Regional Councils and Local Authorities elections and has asked all stakeholders to be part of the democratic electoral process and ensure its integrity. 

Kavango East Electoral Officer Paulus Sifire assured stakeholders the ECN is ready to ensure smooth regional and local authority elections. He gave the assurance at a stakeholders meeting at Rundu.  

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has urged office bearers to serve as exemplary leaders in the provision of public services, highlighting the essential importance of hard work and commitment in achieving the government's success.

The Swapo Party's Secretary General, Sophia Shaningwa, has urged party members to unite and work tirelessly to reclaim Walvis Bay in the upcoming Regional Councils and Local Authorities elections. 

It is all systems go for Outapi Constituency by-election slated for Monday.

This morning the ECN deployed polling officials and police officers who will maintain law and order at the 42 polling stations.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) is well prepared for the Outapi constituency by-election scheduled for Monday, the 29th of September.
