Zambezi residents advised to acquire national documents to vote

Swapo Party Secretary General Sophia Shaningwa has advised residents in the Zambezi Region to acquire national documents in preparation for the upcoming presidential elections in November this year.

Sophia Shaningwa said this at a Swapo rally at Kanono in the Sibbinda Constituency.

Youth called to vote for change

The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) says it's high time the youth take charge of the country and vote for change in the November 2024 election.

PDM President McHenry Venaani says this is the only way they will address high unemployment and create jobs.

Zimbabwe elections underway

The incumbent president of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, cast his vote this morning at his hometown of KweKwe, about 200 kilometres outside Harare.

 

Mnangagwa, in an interview with the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), continued to call for a peaceful election.

 

Zimbabweans to vote on Wednesday

More than eight million Zimbabweans are expected to head to the polls on Wednesday.

Zimbabweans in the diaspora urged to go home and vote

Zimbabwean veteran journalist Hopewell Chinono has urged all Zimbabweans in the diaspora to go back home and participate in the national elections slated for August 23.

Chinono is attending the Regional Conference on Information and Communication Rights in Africa in Windhoek.
