16th NDF intake welcomes 1265 graduates

Military graduates have been urged to maintain their integrity, remain disciplined, and protect the ethos of the force as they begin their new journey in service.

The call was made at the ceremony to celebrate the completion of rigorous training for 16th Intake Recruits at the Namibian Defence Force Training Centre.

The event, which took place at the Osona Military Base in Okahandja, was attended by dignitaries, officials, and family members.

Training of 1,458 NDF cadet officers and recruits begins

The Namibian Defense Force has begun training its 1,458 cadet officers and recruits.

The opening ceremony took place at the Namibia Defense Force Training Establishment, also known as the Osona Military School, outside of Okahandja.

The opening of the 10th intake regular commissioning course and the 16th intake recruit training saw both cadet officers and recruits warned about the difficult road ahead.

Chief of the Namibian Defense Force, Air Marshal Martin Pinehas, says the group will be trained under the NDF's motto, "Train hard, fight easy."
