The Chairperson of the National Men's Fellowship, Sydney Boois, has called on the government to join hands with the church to curb gender-based violence (GBV).
 
Boois said this during a media briefing ahead of the annual conference at AFM Corpus Christi in Okahandja.

There is an upcoming Men's Conference on Gender-Based Violence, which will take place on September 6, 2024, at the Khomasdal Constituency Office. 

This conference aims to bring men into the conversation about gender-based violence and explore how they can be part of the solution. 

The Oshana Regional Police Commander, Commissioner Naftal Sackaria has lauded the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare for hosting the National Men's conference at Ongwediva.
