The Minister of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, Indileni Daniel, has urged the public to refrain from littering and to take shared responsibility for keeping Namibia clean during the festive season and beyond.

At Rundu, the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism is raising awareness about littering.

Romeo Muyunda, Chief Public Relations Officer of the Environment, Forestry, and Tourism Ministries, says the Ministry is concerned that the country is becoming dirtier, which prompted the clean-up campaign.

The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism urges the public to follow guidelines to keep themselves secure and safe during the festive season and to ensure that wildlife crimes, and poaching incidences, in particular, do not occur during this holiday.
