The Erongo Governor's order to urgently remove rocks believed to have trapped a 15-year-old boy, who drowned 43 days ago near Platz am Meer Mall in Swakopmund, has still not been carried out.

The governor gave authorities until Monday to act, but the rocks remain untouched.

There have been no arrests made so far in connection with the fatal cash-in-transit robbery that occurred in Swakopmund.

According to a police statement, the suspects escaped with N$350,000 on Monday. As the investigation continues, there have been no recoveries or arrests to report.

The Swakopmund Municipality has officially opened a N$4 million outdoor recreation facility at the northern beach.

The northern beach is an area near Platz am Meer Mall, popularly known as OK Parking.
