A human skull was discovered by a farmer at Otjoruharu in the Omaheke Region.

Omaheke Police Unit Commander for Community Affairs, Inspector Fina Sakajengenga, confirmed to nbc News that a human skull without a lower jaw and what appear to be human bones were discovered all over the area. Some old clothes and shoes suspected to be from the deceased were found in the area.

Inspector Sakajengenga said the police also found shoelaces tied to a tree. At the moment, the deceased is not known, and the residents of the area have not reported a missing person.

A police inspector in the Omaheke Region, Fina Sakajengenga, is calling on members of the public to avoid taking large amounts of cash along when shopping over the holiday season.
