The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) will hold by-elections in four constituencies by June of this year.

The positions became vacant following the swearing-in of four councillors as members of the National Assembly last week.

Residents of the Otjiwarongo and Grootfontein constituencies in the Otjozondjupa Region can expect to vote for their new constituency councillors in separate by-elections before June 2025. 

The Moses ||Garoeb Constituency in the |Khomas Region is one of the most populated constituencies in the region, with more than 40 thousand inhabitants. The majority of the population are adults who will go to the polls in January.
