Northern-based businessman David Sheehama has pledged to rehabilitate two access roads in the Oshana Region. 

The gravel roads will improve access to schools, especially during the rainy season. 

The Keetmanshoop Town Council has commissioned a project to upgrade gravel roads to interlocked paved roads as part of efforts to improve the town's road infrastructure.

With the frequent influx of tourists following the lifting of the COVID-19 travel ban, the state of the gravel roads within the flagship Etosha National Park is said to be rapidly deteriorating.
