A significant number of people cast their votes this morning at Okandjengedhi Community Hall and Onawa Kindergarten polling stations in the Oshana Region.

The announcement of election results at the Karasburg Combined School Collation Centre sparked controversy when Nesimus Mupiya of the Independent Patriots for Change and Norbert Jossob of the Landless People's Movement declined to sign off on the results.
