Namibia and the Benelux countries have agreed to waive visas for diplomatic and official passport holders, in addition to signing the re-admission agreement.

The Benelux Union is made up of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxemburg.

The modalities of the agreement to waive visas for diplomatic and official passport holders are still being worked out, including the date on which it will come into effect.

Meanwhile, the University of Namibia and the Radboud University of the Netherlands also signed an agreement that would facilitate the building of a telescope in Namibia.
