Namibian lawmakers attending the Russia-Africa Summit commended Russia for treating Africa as an equal partner in development.

They say the hope is that African countries will capitalise on these relations and forge sustainable partnerships in critical industries.

The MPs were invited by the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
