Justice Minister Yvonne Dausab has emphasised the importance of lawmakers ensuring that laws are clearly translated and understood before passing.

Dausab was speaking during the Commonwealth Law Reform Training underway in Windhoek.

Namibian lawmakers attending the Russia-Africa Summit commended Russia for treating Africa as an equal partner in development.

They say the hope is that African countries will capitalise on these relations and forge sustainable partnerships in critical industries.
