Nedbank Desert Dash, the epic mountain bike race that takes place in the Namib Desert. This year marks the 19th edition of the race, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before. The race will be held on the 8th of December 2023 and has gained popularity not only among local cyclists but also among international competitors from around the world.

Participants in the race have the option to form teams of four, teams of two, or ride solo. The race covers a staggering distance of 397 kilometers and lasts for a challenging 24 hours. It's an incredible opportunity to push your limits and experience the thrill of racing through the desert.

During the launch event, the Minister of Sport, Youth, and National Service, Agnes Tjongarero, highlighted the significance of the Desert Dash. The organizer, Leander Borg, also unveiled some exciting new additions to this year's race, making it even more thrilling.

The race will begin at Grove Mall in Windhoek and conclude in Swakop, making it the longest single-stage mountain bike race in the world. Hollard is one of the sponsors, and Sam Kauapirura from Hollard expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event.
