The National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) made numerous key resolutions at the party's National Council meeting, which was held in the capital over the weekend.
NUDO, during the gathering, deliberated on various national and internal party issues.
One of the resolutions made by the party's highest decision-making body was to lift the suspension of Ambros Mundjindjiri, who is an MP serving in the National Council.
Kapukatua Kuvare, the National Vice Chairperson of the party, also revealed that the party's National Council decided to recall four of its expelled members.
Mbamunovandu Tuamunika, Vetaruha Kandorozu, Veneruru Korumbo, and Vee Katjimune were suspended by the party’s leadership after they were found guilty of ‘sowing disunity’ in the party.
The members have been recalled on condition that they re-join the party as new members and surrender any position they held prior to their expulsion from the party.
NUDO has also resolved to include youth in the top five of its parliamentary list and to provide its regional branches with more resources for efficiency.
Kapukatua Kuvare also officially declared the internal party campaign of NUDO as officially open.
He urged all interested and qualifying party members who aim to campaign for positions in the leadership structures of the party to do so peacefully without tarnishing the character or names of the other candidates.
The National Vice Chairperson also cautioned against 'slate politics’, announcing that further directives will be given to party members on how to campaign.
The National Elective Congress of the party will be on April 27 in Windhoek.
