The memorial service for the late President, Hage Geingob saw an outpouring of sentimental tributes from various dignitaries and performers at the Independence Arena in Katutura. 

The Director of the Law Society of Namibia, Neliswa Tjahikika, highlighted President Geingob's instrumental role in the drafting of the Namibian Constitution. 

The Chairperson of the Public Enterprises Chief Executive Officers' Forum, Fluksman Samuehl, emphasised the late president's exceptional leadership skills, while Salmaan Jacobs, Chairperson of the Public Service Commission, praised President Geingob for his work in ensuring that Namibian public servants received benefits.

Deputy Bishop Zach Makari from the Church of Africa reflected President Geingob's vision for a united Namibia where prosperity was inclusive and accessible to all.

The Minister of Justice, Yvonne Dausab, expressed gratitude to all who attended the memorial service and to the entire Namibian nation for their support during this challenging time. 

She highlighted President Geingob's unifying presence while alive and expressed hope that his spirit would continue to unite the nation even after his death.
