The founder and managing director of International Training College Lingua, Ingrid Mettler, urged graduates to embrace the journey after graduation with innovation and creativity to make it into the highly competitive world of work.
Over 800 students graduated in various fields.
Mettler urged graduates to be conquerors and grab opportunities that come their way.
She reminded them that they are going to face life without a guiding book and need to think outside the box and be changemakers.
"Given the rate of change, technology will evolve, and I challenge you to think big to embrace change in real life. The importance of unleashing creativity. You, in your journey, are going to face situations where they are not going to win; there will be no one and nothing to rely on. You will just need to improvise in space and make it up to this point. But if you're avoiding the embrace of great creativity, you're going to be just fine."
The graduates received certificates, diplomas, and bachelor degrees in fields including electrics, human resources management, early childhood development, business administration, accounting, and finance.
The college is embarking on a research and development journey to provide PHD degrees and hopes to reach university status by 2025.
The nbc News Team spoke to some of the graduates for their thoughts.
"What I will advise to the kids in university I will tell them that you need to work hard, keep your head up high?, study hard, have endless nights, and do what you must to make it," says Zeno Coetzee.
Abigail Klukowski says, "The advice is to motivate yourself daily because you can do it , because it's only you that can motivate yourself, you know, so motivate yourself, study hard, and read through your work."
