Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare said the government has set aside funding to support graduates' business ideas and innovations.

Prime Minister Dr Elijah Ngurare has urged new graduates to use their newly acquired skills to further advance their cause for self-development.

He made the remarks during the graduation ceremony of Triumphant College today. 

Meanwhile, NUST Acting Vice Chancellor Andrew Niikondo has urged graduates to remain resilient and use their knowledge to create opportunities, not only for themselves but for others as well, contributing to Namibia's social and economic development.

Three hundred ninety-eight people graduated from UNAM's Rundu Campus in Kavango East. 

The graduation at the Rundu Trade Fair Centre was made of eager guests, excited graduates and proud family members.

Since its inception in 2023, the NBC Drama School has trained and equipped 450 young people.

Speaking at the handover of certificates, NBC Director General Stanley Similo said what started as a vision has now successfully materialised.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Namibia (UNAM), Kenneth Matengu, has appealed to the government for increased academic research funding to boost innovation, enhance academic excellence and support national development. 

It should be borne in mind that becoming an officer in the defense force is no small feat; it must be both earned and deserved.

The founder and managing director of International Training College Lingua, Ingrid Mettler, urged graduates to embrace the journey after graduation with innovation and creativity to make it into the highly competitive world of work. 

Over 800 students graduated in various fields.

Academic graduations are not an end in themselves, hence the need to continue with self-development to keep up with the demands of the job market.

This message was given to 360 students who graduated from the University of Namibia's (UNAM) Katima Mulilo campus on Thursday.

Some young graduates are heeding the call to create employment for themselves by starting business ventures.
