The |Khomas annual career day commenced under the theme "Empowering Dreams."

The three-day event aimed to introduce career choices for learners through engaging with various industry players and tertiary institutions that will be exhibiting their offers at the fair.

The goal is for learners to have an opportunity to unleash their full potential as they connect with informed industry leaders, shedding light on their career plans.

Senior education officer in the Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture, Regina Mulisa, urged the learners to engage with industry leaders and take full advantage of their wisdom and experience.

Learners were urged to dream big and to pursue their dreams with determination and enthusiasm.

"Each challenge you face and every obstacle you overcome will only make you stronger and more resilient. As you engage with industrial leaders and professionals here today, take full advantage of their wisdom and their experience. Ask questions, seek advice, and listen attentively."

The Governor of the |Khomas Region, Laura McLeod-Katjirua, encouraged the learners to think beyond job titles and salaries and to consider the impact they want to make in society, the values that drive them, and how they can use their talents to make meaningful contributions within their communities and beyond.

"As you walk through these halls and engage with professionals from diverse industries, I encourage you to approach today with curiosity and an open mind. This fair isn't just about exploring job titles, it's about discovering your passions, understanding your strength, and envisioning the future you want to create for yourself."
