Otavi is one of the constituencies in the Otjozondjupa Region, leading in general voter registration at 91% by the 27th.

With voter registration ending Thursday, a few activities were happening.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia's Otavi Team leader, Mandla Kitsie, says she hopes that the situation might change.

In the first month, they were only registering about 60 people daily, but this week, the number went up to 100 daily on average.

Kitsie said the team has not encountered any challenges since the start of the registration process.
