The year 2025 will be the one that many will be looking forward to as the government plans to implement a grant for unemployed people between the ages of 18 and 59.

This was announced by the implementing Minister of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare, Doreen Sioka, when she received 18 members to Swapo at Sachinga in Sibbinda District in the Zambezi Region.

Sioka, who is a Swapo Party member of the Central Committee, informed the new members that the party's vision to serve the people and steer the country's development agenda remains.

Without being specific on the implementation date next year, Sioka explained that once an individual gets employment, they will fall out.
 
Sioka appealed to the new members to have trust in the Swapo Party-led government. 

Sioka called upon the youth to rally behind their parents who fought for the freedom of the country while also being groomed to champion the country's prosperity.
